you know that episode of sex & the city when carrie gets mugged?  the one where she's trolling the vintage markets for the perfect ten dollar dress to match her three hundred dollar shoes?    yeah, the one where carrie ends up wearing paper slippers and miranda takes to the drink?  but i digress.

this outfit is my version of that.  the blouse was bought brand spanking new because it so perfectly matched my newly thirifted ninety-nine cent belt.  the sacrifices we make for fashion.
