recently i had the opportunity to meet a friend of a friend who has just moved to canada from the uk. when the conversation inevitably turned to where we work and she discovered that i work for the canadian company REITMANS her eyes lit up and she exclaimed "you are my new best friend!!!"
apparently her absolute favorite go-to destination for clothing was a uk based retailer called NEW LOOK (am i the last person on earth to know about this place?) and reitmans has become her new fave because it is so close in design at the most reasonable price.
if i ever find myself in the uk i would be more than happy to pick up some of the pieces shown to "sneak" into my work wardrobe. i don't think my boss would notice...
