thrift - play

my eye was caught by the strangely attractive {and very of the moment} aztec/navajoish print.  score.

i initially thought it was a duvet cover.  score score.

i pulled it off the hanger to find that it was actually a hand sewn sleeve with tiny snap buttons covering an old camping blanket.  infinity score.

it's a little hard to explain but it's actually a play mat {or changing mat or sleeping mat for dogs or whatever} about half the size of a twin bed.  it cleaned up perfectly and now sits on the floor for lola to play on without her paws slipping on the hardwood like ice.
lola loves to frolic.  and this bunny mama loves that the attractive mat is going to be so much easier to keep clean than the current rubber back rugs.  infinity score times one million.
