IN APRIL & MAY I...

• went through an inspiration drought that left me with few posts.  luckily i received a sweet note from DANAVEE of THIS VINTAGE GROVE telling me i was missed.
• was inspired by said note to begin blogging again but unfortunately was attacked with a terrible case of strep throat.  fortunately danavee agreed to step up and fill the void with a GUEST POST.
• took stock on how i was making progress with my 2013 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.  accountability helps celebrate successes and make plans for future successes.
• created a THRIFTY WISH LIST - FOR THE HOME to keep me on track when thrifting housewares.
• FINALLY PURCHASED A RUG.
• shared LINKS I HEART - and MORE LINKS I HEART.
• became more active on INSTAGRAM.
• thrifted a NEW PURSE inspired by people watching.

THIS MONTH I...

• shared some beautiful RABBIT THEMED PIECES found on etsy as an alternative to real bunnies as easter presents - because live bunnies are hard work but cozy sweatshirts and beautiful art is easy on the soul
• assembled another fun LINKS I HEART post featuring goodness from around the interwebs
• finally caved and purchased the VINTAGE ART that had been waiting for me at my favorite thrift
• weighed the PROS & CONS of using a new reader when i made the switch to BLOGLOVIN
• found a simple, inexpensive, attractive and practical way to store extra cutlery with a THRIFTED TIN
• was rewarded for my good thrift etiquette with a GORGEOUS THROW PILLOW
• took pen to paper and made a list inspired by THE WILLIAM MORRIS PROJECT

i also made my first visit to an actual target.  so, that happened.

THIS MONTH I...

• shared a list of LINKS I HEART - it was a long one but chock full of goodness.  then i shared THIS ONE and linked it up with lish for LOVES ON A THURSDAY.
• bullied my poor mother into buying me the most adorable THRIFTED MUG and received some serious side-eye from brian for my coffee consumption in said mug.
• realized just how many of the gorgeous items available at WEST ELM can be diy'd and used as inspiration for thrifting if you are poor.  like me.
• reposted one of my favorite posts from when BRIAN WENT AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND & ALL I DID WAS EAT CHINESE FOOD AND WATCH THE BBC.  because it happened again.
• partied with bre at THE GFC COLLECTIVE, liz at THE TOTALLY AWESOME BLOG HOP and lauren at the I LOVE MY READERS LINKY PARTY.
• linked up thrifty finds posts with sandra & autumn for THRIFTY THURSDAY, sirthriftalot for THRIFTASAURUS, wendy for THE WEEKLY THRIFT, and christopher and julia for THE NIFTY THRIFTY.  
• shared just a few of the TELEVISION SHOWS I AM LOVING LATELY.
• hosted a CLOTHING SWAP which turned out to be a really good way to see my best girls, eat lots of hummus and score some free moccasins.
• pimped out my INSTAGRAM with a post celebrating my 100TH PHOTO POSTED MILESTONE.
• started a new SMALL THINGS SERIES to share tips and tricks for being environmentally responsible and saving pennies.  first up, IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM.
• came to terms with my weakness for LUCKY TRUNK ELEPHANTS with this thrifted fellow.
• started another little series - GIRL CRUSH - beginning with the adorable MICHELLE WILLIAMS.

• posted a list of RESOLUTIONS for the new year (current result: fail.  although i am hosting my first party of the year at the end of this week - eep.)

• celebrated tasha & mark's new baby georgia addy with an etsy collection of TOO CUTE BABY STUFF
• shared the gorgeous ART CARDS sent to me by lu of MOOSENOOSE
• discovered and promoted THREE NEWISH BLOGS that i think you should be following
• added to my vintage wool camping blanket collection with my personal THRIFTING HOLY GRAIL
• re-created my favorite restaurant order, BLACKBEAN SANTA FE SALAD, at home
• attended a party at sara's and got to view the new collection from STELLA & DOT
• DETOXED with healthy goodness after all the holiday treats and sweets
• became a PINTEREST sensation with my CANADIANA collection - well, not a sensation exactly...
• did some imaginary apartment redecorating at URBAN OUTFITTERS (still have my sights set on that shower curtain!)
• shared a list of LINKS I HEART and discovered more links to heart with a blog link up hosted by liz at THE BLUE EYED OWL
• celebrated my ANNIVERSARY with a man who cooks like jamie oliver and dresses like mr. rogers
