a while ago i signed up for the 'very thrifty christmas' gift swap hosted by the ever creative sandra of LARA'S VINTAGE. the rules were simple - thrift a gift for your swap partner and keep it under twenty-five dollars including shipping.
i was paired with sunae of LITTLE FOAL who resides in australia. knowing how long the post takes i took the liberty of assuming that unfortunately her package would not arrive in time for christmas so i hope that she'll forgive me for posting these photos of the contents of her package.
i was inspired by how feminine sunae was. i spent some time with her blog and pinterest and felt i'd found some good pieces when i chose a delicate tea cup and saucer with a lovely floral print, a cross-stitch style stick pin (full disclosure: i was tempted to keep this one for myself. i mean, imagine what could be done to spruce up a cloche or a scarf. i swoon.) and a silk scarf with a whimsical print in soft blues, yellows and pinks.
fingers crossed that sunae enjoys her found treasures as much as i had fun choosing them for her. and thanks again to SANDRA for all her hard work, her genuine kindness and her never wavering passion for thrift and support for the blogging community.
