i do this thing when i buy new items of clothing. i take them out of the bag and put them on in the living room and i ask (re: demand of) poor brian,
"WHICH COSBY WOULD WEAR THIS?".
this time, without looking up my beloved replied,
"THEO".
at least he didn't say vanessa. and yes, i feel that theo would have worn a cable knit sweater vest.
i kind of feel like this belt is a piece that sandra may have worn. although her wardrobe tended to lean more towards earth tones and warm golden colours with leathers and suedes, every once in a while the girl would surprise us with a bright pink silk or jewel tones. highly underrated was sandra's wardrobe, leggings paired with turtlenecks and all.
i think i may watch too much rerun television.
and this little drinking glass has absolutely no connection to my beloved cosby family that i can think of but it's pretty stinking cute so it became part of this week's thrift finds. (please excuse the grimy look of this glass. i should have washed off the price sticker goo before photographing but, what can i say, i got excited.)
are there any television shows, current or retro that inspire your wardrobe or home decorating? because don't even get me started on the influence the golden girls have had on the details of my life...
